  Kelly Peterson - President
kellyKelly Peterson is a graduate student at Truman State University, pursuing an audit concentration Master of Accountancy degree. She also earned her bachelor's degree in accounting at Truman, with a minor in Spanish. Kelly joined the Kappa Nu chapter of Beta Alpha Psi during the Spring 2007 semester. During the2008-2009 academic year, she served as the Vice President of Professional Activities. Kelly was also active in Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) as an undergrad, serving in several executive committee positions.

During her term as president, Kelly has a few major goals that she would like to see the Kappa Nu chapter achieve. These include increased interaction between members through service and social events, as well as a revised list of committees and an increase in leadership positions for members. Kelly would like to see a year full of the continued success that Beta Alpha Psi members have worked hard to achieve, including an excellent professional program, stellar recruitment periods, and the continuation of achieving superior status.

When not doing BAP related things, Kelly enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and watching movies. She is originally from St. Louis, MO and hopes to find herself there again after graduation.
  Eric Bozarth - Executive Vice President
Eric is a graduate student in the accounting program at Truman.  As well as serving as Executive VP this year he served as Treasurer for the 08-09 school year.

Eric is originally from Quincy and an all around great guy.
  Meghan Falter - Secretary/Parliamentarian

Meghan is a senior accounting major at Truman State University.  She joined the Kappa Nu chapter of Beta Alpha Psi during the Fall 2007 semester.  She enjoys her involvement in Ceilidh Club (Irish dancing) and Campus Crusade for Christ.  She is also a peer mentor for the School of Business.

 

During the Fall 2008 semester, she trained for and ran a half marathon in St. Louis and hopes to someday run a full marathon.  In her spare time, she likes to read, watch movies, and ride rollercoasters.

  Joe Pomicter - Reporting Secretary
Joe Pomicter is the Reporting Secretary for the 2009-2010 school year. Last year he served as the Vice President of Fundraising. He has been in Beta Alpha Psi since Fall 2007 and has attended two regional meetings and the annual meeting in Brooklyn, New York this past summer. Joe is a graduate student pursuing his Master of Accountancy and will sit for the CPA exam.  His leisure hours are dominated by eating ice cream and watching movies with his housemate, Executive Vice President Eric Bozarth.  He also is a big fan of classic movies, history, and music. He likes to travel and would like to possibly live abroad at some point in his life.
  Ben Anderson - Treasurer
Ben is a senior majoring in Accounting and Economics. He joined Beta Alpha Psi in the Fall of 2007, and since then has served on several committees, including the by-laws revision committee, Be Something in Life that Counts, and Ambassadors. In addition to Beta Alpha Psi, he is also involved in Students in Free Enterprise and attends Economics Faculty meetings to provide student input.  Ben hopes to graduate from the Master's program in Accountancy in 2011, and sit for the CPA exam the following summer.  In his free time, Ben enjoys reading on a variety of different topics, cooking, and listening to music.
  Max LaFoy - Historian/Webmaster
Max is a graduate student at Truman studying in accounting, originally from St. Charles, Missouri.  He also attended Truman for his undergraduate degree in accounting.  Max joined BAP in 2008.  Max is also involved in the Baptist Student Union by playing guitar and leading the men's group.

Currently, Max has a job of Graduate Teaching Research assistant for professor Alan Davis, which mainly involves co-organizing the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program in the spring.  In his free time, Max enjoys spending time with his fiance, working out, and watching shows like 24, Lost, and The Office.
  Laura Powers - Vice President of Community Service
Originally from Kansas City, Laura is a graduate student pursuing a tax concentrated Master’s of Accountancy degree and is also a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Truman State University. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Truman as well.

Her free time is spent planning her wedding as well as spending time with her family and friends, reading, watching movies, and swimming!
  Katie Sassenrath - Vice President of Professional Activities
Katie is a senior at Truman State University majoring in both Accounting and Finance. She joined the Kappa Nu chapter of Beta Alpha Psi  during the Spring 2008 semester. She is also an active member of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and works in Pickler Memorial Library.  In her free time she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and hanging out with friends.
  Helen Pham - Vice President of Recruitment/Social Activities
Helen is a senior majoring in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Asian Studies. She joined Beta Alpha Psi during the Spring 08 semester. She served as the VITA Promotion Co-Chair last year before becoming VP Recruitment. Helen is also a member of Students in Free Enterprise and the Society for Sino-American Studies. She studied abroad in China during Summer 2008 and taught English in Taiwan for a month. Her hometown is St. Louis, MO. In her free time, she likes listening to music and experimenting with graphic design.
  Elisabeth O'Brien - Vice President of Fundraising
lizElisabeth is a Senior at Truman State University majoring in accounting and finance with a minor in economics.  She joined the Kappa Nu chapter of Beta Alpha Psi the Fall semester of 2007.  She is also active in Campus Crusade and studied abroad in Ireland during the summer of 2008. Elisabeth is from St. Louis, MO and enjoys swimming, movies, and reading in her free time.
