The President of Beta Alpha Psi
  Kappa Nu Chapter

Adam Trusty is a graduate student at Truman State University, pursuing a tax concentrated Master’s of Accountancy degree. He also earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Truman. Adam joined the Kappa Nu chapter of Beta Alpha Psi during the Fall 2006 semester. During the 2007-2008 academic year, he served the chapter as the Vice President of Professional Activities. Adam was also very active in the Baptist Student Union during his undergrad, serving as a team leader and an intern.

During his term as president, Adam has a few major goals that he would like to see the Kappa Nu chapter achieve. These include increased communication between all members of the chapter, including candidates and active members. Along with this, he hopes to increase the membership’s understanding of the background and meaning of being a member of Beta Alpha Psi. He also would like to see a year filled with continued success with the professional program, more service opportunities among members, additional fundraising prospects, and continued remarkable efforts during the recruitment periods. Adam also wants the chapter to participate in the Best Practices competition again as a part of the Beta Alpha Psi regional conference and continue the Kappa Nu tradition of achieving Superior status.

When not doing BAP related things, Adam enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Whitney, watching movies, reading non-school related books, and hanging out with friends. He is originally from Iberia, Missouri and is hoping to find himself in Kansas City after graduation.
